THE KABAKA BIRTHDAY RUN
Throughout the past years, The Kabaka Birthday run, is an annual event to mark Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II birthday celebrations. Having created awareness towards Fistula and Sickle Cells over the past years, this year’s run just like last year was held under the theme “Men for Good Health and Ending AIDS by 2030”
Inclusive sports is part of the method the organization is using to advocate for the rights of children with special needs. Our team and the children add a chance to participate in the King of Buganda birthday run under the theme “Men against AIDS, to protect the girl child”.
This was a great opportunity to also send a clear message to the world that social interaction of children with special needs is a right and also to stop victimising these children since some of them are being raped and infected with HIV/AIDS
